We fetch a handful of public pages from your store, read them the way an AI assistant would, and report what could and could not be worked out. No JavaScript from your site is ever run, and nothing is saved.

Which assistants we check for
Not every one of these affects whether shoppers can find you. The ones that only feed model training are reported separately, and quietly, because blocking them is a normal choice that costs you nothing today. There is a fuller explanation in the crawler reference.
What we fetch, and nothing else
- The address you pasted
/robots.txt, first, so we know what we are allowed to open/sitemap.xmlor/sitemap_index.xml, if your site does not already point to a sitemap- Up to 3 policy pages you link to from that page
Every request identifies itself as IsMyStoreVisibleBot/1.0 (+https://ismystorevisible.online/bot), times out after 8 seconds, and obeys your robots.txt — including when that means not reading your pages at all. The whole scan stops at 10 seconds and reports what it managed rather than failing. Site owners who see it in their logs can read what the bot is and how to block it.

How the score works
Each check earns a share of ten, weighted by how much it costs you. A check we could not run — a site too slow to answer, say — is left out of the sum entirely rather than scored zero, so an incomplete scan gives a smaller honest score instead of a large false one.
The traffic light is not derived from the score alone. Anything that blocks assistants outright reads Not visible regardless of how good the rest is, because a store nothing can open does not have a partial problem.
